To black and chrome you can now add white: Yes, Pioneer’s mid-range and pro headphones, the HDJ-1500s and the HDJ-2000s, are now also available in matte white.
We’ve yet to review the HDJ-2000s (maybe we’ll review the white ones…) but we liked the HDJ-1500s, finding them a capable, smart and stylish design.
As to who buys white headphones, I am not so sure. Trance DJs? Female DJs? Pioneer makes a bit of a habit of releasing its gear in white across the range, so clearly there’s a demand.
